About

Megan Bresnahan is a confessional poet whose work turns over memory, the body, and the long half-life of ordinary griefs. Her poems have appeared in The Adroit Journal, Poetry Northwest, The Rumpus, and elsewhere. She is currently applying to MFA programs and will attend the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference in August 2026.

She lives and writes with an ongoing suspicion of small talk and a firm position on turn signals (see: Soapbox).
